Who is East Coast Scaffolding?
East Coast Scaffolding NSW is a division of East Coast Safe-T-Rail (Hire) Australia Pty Ltd.
We are a privately owned company specialising in servicing the residential building industry
with the hire of
Modular Scaffolding systems
How did we start?
In the early nineties, the Australian residential construction sector began looking for safety
systems that would be suitable for use in domestic construction. This need drove the
introduction of roof rail systems and the use of scaffolding into the residential housing market.
Up until this point, companies in the market were either focused on scaffolding or roof rail products.
East Coast Scaffolding developed from the idea of creating a company that could combine both
of these products plus deliver services such as:
The company was originally established within an engineering business located at a site
in Liverpool, Sydney. We started as a business employing just two staff and using
subcontractors to install our products.
The company today
Today we have become one of the market leaders in NSW for residential scaffolding systems.
We employ over thirty full time staff and utilise the services of many
subcontractor installers.
East Coast Scaffolding now operate independently of the engineering business
and is located in a purpose built site covering over an acre in the
Sydney suburb of Glendenning, adjacent to the M7 tollway.
We also have an office in Cardiff, servicing Newcastle, the Hunter Valley
area and the Central Coast region.
Our approach to safety
East Coast products are designed, tested and manufactured
to comply with the relevant WorkCover OH&S regulations for
scaffolding.
We coordinate total site safety management by offering advice
on systems to suit individual needs and OH&S requirements
on a site-by-site basis.
